Verification Email Not ReceivedWhen you signed up for our forum, you were required to provide an active/current email address. In order for you to be able to post on our forum, you must verify your account by way of a verification email that is sent to your account. When you receive the verification (activation) email you will be provided an activation code or link to click on that will have to be completed before you can post on our forums. This email is typically sent out immediately after the completion of the registration form. If you do not see it right away, please wait five to ten minutes. If you have waited ten minutes and you still do not have a verification email there are some steps you can take to correct that. If you still have not received an verification/activation email, please do the following: - First, check your emails spam, or junk, mail. Sometimes emails from ProBoards are automatically considered spam or junk by an email provider. Your verification/activation email may have went into that folder automatically.
- Once you have checked your spam/junk folder, if you still do not see an email you can try logging into our forum directly. You will be taken to an activation page. From there you need to make sure that the email address you provided is correct as well as spelled correctly. If it isn't you can click on the Change Email link in the box and provide the correct email address.
- If after you have completed the above two things and you still do not have a(n) verification/activation email, you may need to contact your email provider for more information.
Because ProBoards uses emails globally, meaning that you can link all forum accounts to one email address, the first time you create a forum account with an email a verification or activation is required. Once your account has been verified or activated, provided you use the same email address, you should not have to activate your email again.
